Weekly/Monthly/Annual Events
- Craft Club - second Monday of the month at the village Hall between 7-9pm. Bring your projects and let's get together for some crafty chat! Admission £2.50. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided, contact Rosie for more info 07584650886.
- Soup and Sweet - at the hall every third Friday of the month. We are always looking for anyone who can help out on the day and/or make soup and sweets as and when needed. Contact Jif (07917484684) if you would like to get involved!
- Book Club is the last Tuesday of every month (excluding December) in the Annex of the hall. A donation of £2pp is asked to cover the cost of the hall. Bring a book and the rest is up to you, why not get cosy and bring a blanket, maybe a packet of biscuits or even a wee bottle of wine or hot chocolate! Contact Chloe on: 07704325485
- The Art Group meet every Friday in the Annex of the hall between 1:30pm - 4pm.
- The Bowling Club - we meet on a Monday and Thursday evening at the Bowling Club from 7.00pm for club evenings of play.
- The Auchencairn History Society archive is open between 11am – 1pm every second Thursday (in the Annex of the Hall).
- The Flower and Vegetable Show - Saturday 26th July 2025 at 2pm in the Hall.

The Link Park and Allotments
The Link Park is situated at the heart of the village, behind the Village Shop and is a great place for a picnic! Run by volunteers who meet every Tuesday at 10am at the park, so if you fancy helping out with a spot of weeding come along!

- We meet on a Monday and Thursday evening at the Bowling Club from 7.00pm for club evenings of play.
- Alongside this we attend local competitions along the Solway Coast.
- We are always looking for new members especially from Auchencairn.

Cost to hire the hall for anyone in the village:
- Annex + kitchen £5ph
- Hall + kitchen £10ph
- £15ph for everything
- Day rate - £80 (main hall only £60) (anti room £40)
*Children's events - free to use the hall (donation appreciated)
Raising Funds for the Village - Crafts for sale at the Hall
Everyone is welcome to make crafts and add them to the table, please add a price (preferably under £5).

ACT (Auchencairn Climate Transition)
ACT was established in 2019 to respond to the Climate Emergency, address environmental damage and enable a transition to a more resilient and sustainable community. It manages several projects that support its aims:
- An E- bike Scheme that provides access to E bikes for hire, with associated skills training and support.
- A Bio Diversity Project, with tree planting and work with local schools on wildlife surveys etc.
- A Community Garden with Poly Tunnel resource and composting with volunteering opportunities.
- Community events i.e. Art Exhibition; Craft sessions; Community Cinema, and, before Covid, local sessions with 'Bring and Buy' activity.
